I play it with a dirty distortion and accent the notes but,it still misses that extra distortion....help.

That is the unmistakeable sound of a Gibson SG with the volume on both pickups turned up full and the tone on the treble pickup bottomed out and the neck pickup about a quarter off the top. But the secret is the sound of the little amp. Only one makes that sound and it is the legendary Pignose! Pignose are known for that juicy sound that disintegrates so foglike. They make great little preamps too.

It sounds like slight distortion with a small reverb, and that's it.

And I believe Don Felder played lead for it
