I dunno now that we have to look for a new offensive coordinator. It could be an ugly year.

I predict a 9 or 10 win season for them. Expect Frank Gore to gain even more yards this time around and expect to see him end his fumbling madness. Alex Smith will finally step up his game and get a couple three touchdown games. Vernon Davis should be healthy and will become a vital role in the passing attack. Watch the 49ers grab a DB to boost up their below average defense and pick up Adalius Thomas to provide great pass rush and coverage abilities.
The 49ers beat the division champs Seahawks twice last season with them being healthy. The 49ers will split with the Rams once again, with each team winning the road games. Hopefully they will at least beat the Cardinals this year and take the NFC West title.

The 49ers suffered a major blow when Norv Turner took the job in San Diego. Turner, who is known for his development of quarterbacks, contributed greatly in the progression of Alex Smith. With that being said there is truth that the NFC West is one of the worst divisions in the NFL. So with the continual progression of the offense (the defense was solid last year) us 49er fans can have optimism in making the playoffs this year.

Maybe, they came close to the playoffs last season.
They have found a pro bowl running back in Gore, but they need to find them a go to reciever to make them a threat in the passing game.
They have decent tight ends.
Of course, defense needs some work, but alot of Defenses do, look at Indy.
I don't think they are very far off from getting into the playoffs.
They always have been a class organization, they just need some time to get it turned around.

Losing Turner will hurt but it wont be the end, with a good draft and a few key free agents like hopefully Thomas from the Ravens I could see them going 10-6 maybe even 11-5. Playoffs and maybe even a late Superbowl run wouldn't be that hard to see if they jump on the back of Gore and ride him to the Superbowl!!

6-10, maybe 7-9.

They capitalized on the Seahawks not being up to snuff thanks to many injuries to important players. The Seahawks will win the division easily. They also have to face the Rams and Cardinals, who improve alongside the 49ers. The NFC West may be weak, but it's one ofthe few divisions where all teams are already good or moving towards it.

In 2006, Gore had a great year, but in 2007 he will slow down. The 49ers will be 3-13, because the Cardinals will be winners and so will the Rams, so they have no chance

i am a niners fan. right now it is a toss up. depends on the new offensive coordinator. without Norv Turner i don't feel as confident in our offense as much. this is the 3rd Offensive coordinator for Alex Smith and Frank Gore in 3 years. i just hope the new guy can really make something out of smith, and if he does then i think we are in playoff contention.
(remember Nolan is a defensive minded coach so Smith will rely more on the O-coordinator more)

They have good chances on winning the NFC West (very weak division). If the Defense can continue to improve and put pressure on opposing teams QBs like they did in the final game. Than defintely Division Champs and maybe one playoff win.

If they beat the damn Cardinals, they will be Wild Card or better. Why do they do well against Seahawks, but let the Cardinals WR run circles around them. Racking up over 100 yeards catching.

And if Gore can hold on to the ball more often, we'll do really well.

Hello, Michael Evan Sachs here,

I think they have a great shot at getting into the playoffs in '07. Frank Gore is a good addition to their team.
Thanks,
Michael Evan Sachs
