I know some people have their opinion one way or another about whether chiropractic medicine works or not. There is one doctor who I think has a cool philosophy, tell me what you think. www.innatedetroit.com

I am a Chiropractor myself. Research shows that in the US about 10 to 12 percent of the pop. seeks Chiropractic care. My suggestion to you is that you get a consultation with the Doctor you are thinking about to see if it is going to be the right fit for YOU. I always tell my patients to do this when they are relocating. Most of us will offer this to patients at no charge to not only see if we might be able to help them and if our personalities and expectations are on the same page. Good Luck!

I have a chiropractor, and he is my regular doctor. I love what he does for me, since it is drug-free, and needed by the body. I don't try to convince people that a chiropractor is good for them anymore, because so many are set in their ways. I say, do what you'd like. I just know I am not on Rx's all the time, and when I go in for One visit, I'm all better. At 30, that's not bad.

I have fibromyalgia, and I love, love, LOVE my chiropractor!! If I don't go, I get *really* stiff and sore.

I recently tried to go without chiropractic care for about a month, and WOW. I was a total mess - had migraines one right after another. I swear by chiropractic care!!

I had a bad experience at the chiropractor's office, so I'm a little biased. He cracked my back and I passed out for about 5 minutes. I was standing up when it happened and hit my head on the way down. But my father in law goes every week and swears by them.

Degenerative problems - headache example below for understandings ... Muscles get knots called trigger points. These make the muscles tight causing them to press on nerves and other thing.
Pain can be referred from places other than the head.
#1 The first thing is to take a couple swigs of molasses or eat a couple of bananas. They contain magnisium and potassium both of which muscles need.
#2 WATER she should be drinking 1/2 gallon minimum. The head of neurology at UCDavis likens a body running low on water to a car running low on oil (the engine can seize).
Get a good (deep tissue) massage (to loosen the trigger points) on the back, shoulders and neck. Make sure to press up at the base of the skull where it meets the spine.
You rub or lightly scratch everywhere on your head. You will hit spots that are tender these are trigger points. The idea is to rub across them 6-12 times per session up to six times per day until they go away.
For more information on trigger points read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.

Well I dont know that he has come up with anything "new"
I am of Finnish decent and we have always believed in saunas to help sweat out any illness.
I personally go to a chiropractor for relief of migraines mostly.
I dont dispute what this guy is offering, but I think it is the kind of place people who are looking for something tend to flock to as if it will hold all of their answers.

I have been to a chiropractor several times, and must say I feel better afterwards. My mother took me the first time to one when I was 15 years old. the dr was a friend of the family. She thought I was having an apendisitis attack. but he said no my back was not lined up. put it back in line and the next day I was feeling great and no more problems. They do work.but you need to find a good one.
