Perhaps you could try a bit of exercise, go out for a run or swimming. Might make you feel better.

Ok - don't look at now or tomorrow as that is dull. Do what you have to do for these routine days but look to the weekend. Why don't you sit down and have a family conference and say that one day this weekend the family are going to go out together. If money is short take a picnic (which the kids could help you prepare) and get the map out and pick where you are going to go and investigate. We do this all the time. Let the kids choose some of the time so they feel part of the adventure. We go to the beach, the forest, the hills. We have a stunt kite which the kids love and take a ball, bats and rain coats. Just plan to have fun and get out of the 4 walls. Hope you try this. It works for us. x

Listen to some cool music, this ALWAYS perks me up or completely changes my mood from low to HIGH! Don't get sucked into things that aren't good for you just to fill in time or space. While you're so young get out some interesting books from the library and soak up the info for later on in life....
It's a bad time of year and alot of people get S.A.D. a proper syndrome and I think I definitely get it! A good time to go on holiday. But if you can't do that like a lot of us you could buy a daylight, UV light bulb, its blue but really bright and warm like day-light, i have one and it's nice. The other good thing would be to take up a sport, something to really focus on, karate is another excellent one, I did this and really enjoyed it as it helps you to gain confidence and a good positive attitude.
Good luck

Give yourself a target be it work or leisure so time passes quicker. I remember the boredom of that age and couldn't wait to grow up and I really sympathise with you - its an age when a lot depends on school work and its ironically, the age when you most need FUN!! good luck, I hated school, left early and had to educate myself as a mature student which suited me fine.

dont worry about it, just get on with what you want to do for a change. catch up on some coursework coz if you're behind it will just make you feel worse, or join a gym or something to take your mind off things.

Good luck and chill out!!!!
