The only software that would be causing you to disconnect would be the DSL software itself or possibly your network card driver. You could check for an updated device driver for your netowkr card. If that doesn't fix it then I would just call your provider as it may be a problem with your modem or the line itself.

if it's DSL, it should not drop, at anytime... It's the Modem that's crashing or not installed correctly. Good Luck
