You think they'll find Obama with large cankle marks on his neck?

The Clinton campaign sent out a testy news release after DreamWorks movie studio founder David Geffen, a fan of Sen. Barack Obama (news, bio, voting record), told The New York Times that Sen. Clinton was ambitious and polarizing.

"CLINTON CAMP TO OBAMA: CUT TIES & RETURN CASH AFTER TOP BOOSTERS VICIOUS ATTACKS," screamed the headline of the news release.

Geffen hosted a $1.3 million fundraiser for Obama on Tuesday and is backing the Illinois senator.

The Clinton campaign argued that Obama had vowed to bring a more civil tone to the debate — a platform that has been drawing large crowds — and Geffen's words amounted to "slash and burn" politics.

If you read it correctly, it's THEIR OFFICES doing the bickering, not the candidates themselves. Besides, why would Hillary care? She's got the fund raising capacity of 1000 Obamas, so she could care less.

That headline is baloney. Obama didn't insult anyone. In fact I read that article and I can't find where David Geffen insulted Hillary Clinton.

Wow, I just brought up the same issue a few minutes ago, but tried to discuss the issue without causing division. I got 4 responses. Apparently a lot of people love, simply love controversy. And we wonder why we get stuck with the representatives that we have.

This is all smoke and mirrors. The plan is to have a HILLERY/OBAMA ticket for 08. Ted Kennedy set this up with the two of them back in June of 05 The plan is to expose there weakness to the electorate before the Republicans do! That way Hillery and Obama can rely on the press not to bring it up as it will be old news and not fresh on the minds of the voters.. Bet the farm on this one. How ever they will not win.

My feeling is that neither Clinton nor Obama should make any remarks about the other. Leave it to those who are running their campaigns to do the dirty work. They should stay above the fray!
As I have said before, they cannot afford to make mistakes & making offisive remarks about each other is not good for either of them.
They should stick to the positive about themselves & what they would like to do for the people.

I've got a gut feeling this is only the 1st round in a scheduled 15 rount bout - and they're just feeling each other out presently.
Just hold on and wait 'till they take the gloves off !

They are running against each other - it's to be expected.

They have to practice being petty and childish with each other - as the Republicans do also - so they can be ready to do it in the general election, with those hundreds of millions of dollars in ad money they are taking in.

I am sick of all this infighting. No one running on either side is a shoo in. The more they attack each other , The more they lose with the voteing public. Keep it up Osama & Hillery. You will give the Rublicans another 4 years YIPPIE//

They do have to run against each other in the primaries. It would be nice if they could not go negative so early but what are you going to do?

All I can say, is GOOD. Shows them for the power hungry fools, they are. Neither of them cares about the safety of America, or for her freedom, they care about which one of them gets into the White House. They proved it all by themselves.

Kookoo is correct, and don't you get too happy about this. One of those two will win the democratic nomination anyway and become a great adversary to that liberal republican Guiliani.
