I usually shy away from an argument. UNLESS.... I know without a shadow of a doubt I am as right as right can be. THEN I will argue my point. If I can see it is going to create hard feelings with some one I really care about, I will ignore it all together to save a friendship. Losing a friend is not worth proving you are right.

I try to avoid it which is not good because sometimes you need to do it but I've come to the conclusion that I run away from it because my dad used to confront me alot and force me to answer to his satisfaction even if I was bawling and I was scared to death of him. This has brought me problems in defending myself when someone's done me wrong as well as problems in communicating, I sometimes say things in a weird way and even I don't know why I can't just say it right. He would make me so nervous I would tell the story wrong. I feel afraid in those situations i guess because that's how he made me feel. Sucks.

I'm not so good at confrontation with people I care about. However, if I don't know the person, I am a lot more comfortable about voicing exactly what it is I have to say....

I always try to diffuse the situation first, if that dosen't work then i guess i won't be backing down any time soon.

I never shy away, run or anything else i stand my ground regardless.

i'm always ready for confrontation, not an arguement though. and idon't understand sometimes why people think you have to argue in a confrontation, or why people are afraid of it in the first place.

I shy away from it for the most part, but if I'm backed into a wall oh my god you better watch out. I'll tear you a new one.

Very well. I usually bring it to a logical level and work from there. Just on the facts, and not the emotions. That way everything is rational.

Im ready for one. My guy says that if i argue with him, i always show him that he shouldn't have done it in the first place since i always win.

Every situation is different but if I think your trying to make me mad I may just give you just what your asking for. Other times I consider the source and just do the whatever thing.

As I've gotten older I am growing less afraid of it. I have no problems speaking my mind if I feel I'm being walked on.
