Despite an obvious shortage of talent at a few positions the Jets have closed the gap on New England and they did so in coach Eric Mangini's first year. Next season could be QB Chad Pennington's last shot to show he is the right quarterback for this team. If he is successful, the Jets could make the playoffs. Although they probably will not get to the Super Bowl next year, it will give the team added incentive and drive to improve even further. Look for a SB appearance in 3-4 years!

The Jets have developed quite nicely this past year but i dont see them winning in the next year or so

i think there 3-4 years away because the whole AFC is tough and i think there is no way they can win with the team they have

Yes, maybe in a few years. I am not a Jets fan but I like what they have down to turn that team around. Drafting two lineman in the first round was great move. Both Ferguson and Mangold are going to be pro bowlers.

unless tom brady or bill belichick leaves new england, the jets will continue to have difficulty winning their division, let alone the super bowl...and then after that, they'll have to deal with the rest of the afc, so i think it'll be a while...that said, mangini might just be the guy to take them to the promised land

Probably not for a LONG time. They need to win their division first, and that in itself is a longshot with the Patriots being the best team in that division. Plus, they are from New York, and that is also their misfortune.

Chow!!

you could would desire to think of it is going to at last take place. of direction, thinking it is the franchise that did no longer draft Marino, ignored Favre via one spot and did no longer get Peyton Manning by using fact he desperate to return to college after he graduated, i could say the opportunities of them ever getting the products they want are slender. look in any respect the extreme draft options they have had the previous few years, and tell me the place the celebrities are. i do no longer comprehend if that is undesirable luck that on each and every occasion they draft extreme there are not franchise gamers popping out, or they basically draft horribly. you could think of this team would desire to be approximately to tutor the nook, yet they have shown no warning signs of that.
