You could start with a neutral base for your eye shadow. Continue with earth tones. Use brown eye liner instead of black or any other color. Wearing dark colors will help bring out your brown in your eyes too. My eyes are hazel, but more green. I wear black eyeliner and it pops out the green very well. Thanks for the question and good luck.

AVON has an eyeshadow quad for bringing out brown eyes and another one for bringing out hazel. They say that lavender makes the brown color stand out.

I have hazel eyes, which are also more green than brown. I have found that brown actually makes them seem greener (go figure!)...I have also found that blue eyeliner and blue clothing (teal blues especially) turn them more brown.

Wear browinish eyeliner to bring out the brown. Try to get the smokey look, its really cute and looks better than eyeliner alone.
