The average galaxy takes 250 million of our earth-years to make just one complete rotation of itself. Our Sun has circled the Milky Way Galaxy about 16 times since it was created within and will circle about 16 more times before our Sun has extinguished itself.

Our sun orbits the galaxy about every 250,000,00 years. Since our planet is 4.5 billion years old that would be equal to 18 orbits of the galaxy.

it spins like our own solar system inner bodys go faster than outer bodies and the age of our planet is no reflection of galixy rotations whole star systems can be born and die before they go around the galixy one time.
