::chuckle:: Real men dont' like video games more than women. That's just not natural. However, video games sometimes act as a "spa" for men. As long as he's not playing them so much he has no time for you it's harmless. Let him have his fun for a little while and if you want him to pay attention to you, why not try "slipping into something more comfortable" and seducing him while he's playing? If you're with a man and not a boy, this will work every time.
Now as far as "boys" are concerned, don't waist your time. If he spends more time with his controller than with his woman, it's time to get out of that relationship. There's a maturity issue there that takes a LONG TIME to fix and I'm pretty sure you don't have the time to turn a boy into a man.
My advise to you would be two fold: 1) Tell him it bothers you that it seems you play video games more than spending time with you. Don't have an accusatory tone, just be honest and let him know it hurts you. If he has even the most mininal amount of feeling for you, he'll stop. Period. 2) Try seducing him while he's playing video games. If he gets irritated or mean, it's definitely time to go. Again...any man that prefers a controller to his woman's body isnt' a man...he's a boy. And boys do NOT make good boyfriends/husbands.

As many other people said, it isn't ALL men. Some men do like them a lot but not necessarily more than women. My husband does like video games a lot, but not more than me. Sometimes he will be playing and playing and playing but it is the way that he relaxes. We have a lot of s*** going on in our lives right now and when he gets into a game that is where his focus is, not on how many bills we need to pay, that our car needs to get fixed, his job, etc.I personally go online to relax. He could say that I like the internet more than being with him, if he looked at it that way, but it isn't true. It is just a world that I can delve into and relax, same with him and video games.
I used to have a problem with him playing so much. Though there were things that I did that you could do too. When I want to spend time with him and he is playing a game, I ask if we can play one together. Keep in mind that I really don't like video games all that much. It gives me a chance to be with him, he gets to play his games and he knows that I am interested in what he likes.
Try to not think of it as them liking games more than women, I am 99% sure it is not the case. I am betting your guy plays a lot of games while you are around and you feel "left out", like he would rather be playing than with you. I bet it is unintentional. Get involved!

Dont know maybe they just use it too relax?have a wife who nags too much?or a just plain imature.Personally i like video games as a stress reliever.I have never heard of a man in a happy relationship though over doing it on the video games.By the way i am a woman!

Men who like video games more than women are missing something upstairs. Don't judge us all. Please re-think your question and ask "Why do some men..." There isn't a game in the world, whether video or not, that interests me more than my woman.

because women can use there imagination way better than a man can so when a man is handed something (like a video game) that can put him in another world and make his imagination work (without him having to think of things himself) it is a lot more fun for the man.

Not me, I will never pick a video game, tv, internet, over having a nice warm body next to me in bed or anyplace for that matter.
