What do these terms mean while talking about driving a car?
Standing, stopping, parking.

Signs that say 'NO STOPPING' means you can't even bring your car to a stop unless there's something in your way. This is to force a flow of traffic where people might be tempted to stop.

Signs that say 'NO STANDING' means you can't park your car even if you are sitting inside. You can momentarily stop, and drive off, but just not hang there.

'NO PARKING' simply means that you can't leave your car there, but you can stop or hang around if you sit in the car.

standing doesnt apply what i believe you are referring to are the no standing signs by the road and at intersections.these refer to pedestrians.no stoppimg means just that you may not stop for any reason.no parking means that you cannot park in that spot.
