Both I have an Aunt who seems to be able to turn a profit out of anything she buys/sells or does, where as a friend of mine has slogged his guts out to get his business off the ground, having failed at various things before,a company I worked for was owned by a man who just didn't seem to fail at any aspect of his business even when things get tough, and the market he was in changed he just seem to adapt to the conditions and carry on making money when others in that line of business were failing.
I think luck has a lot ot do with it,...being in the right place at the right time helps.

Did you just get that question from that film "Changing Places" that was on the other night or is this just a huge coincidence. Thats like the whole point of the film. Anyway i reckon its a bit of both but mostly nurture because to become an entrepeneur you need heaps of confidence and that comes from your upbringing and circumstances not your genes.

Bit both I think - tho at top tree some egos are so big that they think they made cos they are mega unique rather than just having right dose of sheer hard work, good business sense and modicum of luck!

I think jamie oliver is trying to nurture that with his "fifteen" kitchen and it seems as tho some do rise to that challenge and opportunity rather than being some kind of "divine right", for every r branson and stelios there are lots that tried and failed.
