If is said 'to confirm anew' then I should tell you what confirm means.

Confirm: to acknowledge with definite assurance: "Did the hotel confirm our room reservation?"

'reaffirm' -- 're' means "back or again" + 'affirm' which means "to state or assert positively; maintain as true"

In early dictionaries 'reaffirm' was defined as "to confirm anew"
but Webster recorded the meaning in 1842 as "to assert anew"
and that is the way we use it in Modern English.

It is derived from the word "affirm" which means to acknowledge or recognize. So it means to recognize again.

do you mean reaffirmed? It means to say yes to something that you already said yes to. Kinda like a reminder of what you said you were going to do, what you believe in, etc.
