women have always been neglected when it comes to leadership and Ibelieve if women could be given a chance they could be little or no wars. In my country South Africa there are few women rising upon men in politics but still growing though

It depends on the women. Some would make excellent leaders, and some would end up making the same stupid mistakes that men have made for years.

Real leaders (men and women) transcend the normal petty bickering, and politicking in order to expand the liberties of the nation as a whole, and don't just hand out tax breaks to the rich and start pointless wars with no end.

The funny thing is that at home, most women (not all but most) are the ones who wear the pants in the house, and are always the ones in charge of the home, and many guys joke about this with co-workers and friends, but at home many men are p u s s y wooped and some admit it and some dont. So why not give a woman an opportunity to run the country, its only 4 years and if they don't do a good job, then don't re-elect her, and if they do????

Why not? We have women that were (and still are in some countries) Queens. Take a look of women in:
leaders in the household taking care of children and organizing things
women running their own business
women being boss in jobs
women in varies fields: lawyers, governors, astronauts, etc…
I truly believe having women as a president would not be a problem. Women have come a long way and I believe are becoming more powerful than men.

There are good women leaders but there are some that cause more hovac than a man ever could. Young women have power over these old men with no brains.

I have worked with women since i was 18 in sydney Australia, In the Defence force they can, outside i notice they can't, all they cause is trouble with gossiping and stiring things up for everyone. Maybe i am just in the wrong field. They also take advantage for the reason they are women.

Gee, what about Margret Thacher. Grow-up and do some research. Look at your country you have no room to boast about your government.

Anyone qualified should be encouraged, regardless of gender.

Margaret Thatcher and Golda Meir (sp?) seemed perfectly capable!

I used to think that, until Margaret Thatcher ran the UK. But I suppose you can't really call her a woman, more like a robot!
