A few years back my wife and I bought a couple of Tiger Oscars for our tank. Nothing we put in with them survived. Even the Pleco was killed. After a year or so we had to return one of the Oscars to the fish store because they started fighting each other!

These are VERY territorial fish and from my experience I can say with confidence nothing will survive in the tank as long as you own an Oscar.

I hope this doesn't bum you out. On the positive side, Oscars are very very smart fish. You can even teach them tricks if you are patient enough!

Hope this helps. Good luck

Sorry to say but even 2 oscars together is not that common in an aquarium. Each oscar, as it grows, requires 75-150 gallons and they DO NOT like any other fish. If you have mature oscars taht get along, you are VERY lucky. Please don't waste the money on buying any other fish to put in with them and good luck

those are kind of tempermental fish and dont really like company. whatever you decide to get, just make sure that the fish your adding is equal or greater size to the oscars, or else they will try to attack it.
