I was taking the pill as my birthcontrol and actually stopped taking it mid cycle. A week after I stopped I got my period and it lasted 7 days. I have very tender breasts and feel very nauceous and moody. I've also gotten some crampy feelings in my lower abdomen. But very slight. Could I be pregnant, and when should I have enough hcg in my body to test? Any response will be helpful.

Thank You.

I started my period on January 30 or 31 not 100% positive. But I know it was on one of those days. I ended on the 5th of Feb. My fiance and I have been having sex at least twice a week.

Those are all typical signs of pregnancy but we cannot know for sure whether you are pregnant or not....You didnt say how long it's been since your last period or anything so we cant really give you good advice...Try testing now if you get a negative then test again in a few weeks or go to your doctor and ask for a blood test those are alot faster at predicting pregnancy.

good luck!

Unfortunately you are probably not pregnant. When a person stops taking the pill no matter what day they are into the pills, your period will start right shortly. Right now your body is just adjusting because you have stopped a pill that had hormones in it. Feeling tender and moody are signs of your body slowly getting rid of the birth control pill.
If you are planning on having children then give it another month, always mark when you start your period and start tracking your cycle.
If you still feel unsure about your condition then taking a pregnancy does not hurt.

It depends on the timing of the intercourse to start with. You should expect some withdrawal bleeding after stopping the pills. the symptoms that you have mentioned can be explained by the premenstrual tension syndrome but again you have to check the HCG which would be positive once you have your first missed period.

Try taking a EPT test, you can take them up to 5 days before you missed cycle.

Good luck.
