After the Cauvery Verdict, Sun TV has been blocked in Bangalore.
English, Hindi and Kannada channals are shown as these channels cater to large strata of people in Bangalore.
Telugu and Malayalam channels also cater to fairly large strata of people in Bangalore, next to Kannada of course.
Besides this, One Gujarati and One Bengali channels are also shown, which caters to a smaller group of people compared to the above.

On the other hand, Sun TV is being aired regularly in Delhi and Mumbai as well.

Why Sun TV alone. Channels giving useful programmes like Podigai, Jaya and all other Tamil TV channels have been blocked also for the past 2 weeks. It was supposed to be resumed from 22nd Feb. and people say one or two channels - DD Tamil etc. started already. My cable vendor originally said all the channels will be aired from 24/25th. But on 24th he said only DD Podigai will be shown and other Tamil channels will not be shown till the Karnataka activists clear it. It may take time indefinitely. -

We do not know why Tamil Channels which is viewed by Tamils in Bangalore is stopped or when they will be resumed. This is becoming the easiest target for every Kannada Agitation, even though Tamils in Bangalore or in Karnataka are fully backing the Govt. of Karnataka.
