i have a boyfriend in which my dad doesnt like and my dads always saying "Youre too young to be worried about boys" IM ALMOST 16!!!! plus when my sister was my age she had plenty of boyfreinds and they let her go out and everything. ny dad wouldnt even let me go to madi gras on saturday because my bf is going to be there. i swear my parents treat me like a baby. (cause i am the baby) what should i do

First, trust is usually earned. Do you lie to your parents, do poorly in school, hide things? If not, talk to your parents and send boundaries for seeing your boyfriend. Maybe only with groups of friends like at bowling or something like that, or maybe only if your boyfriend comes to your house. 16 is still quite young for dating. You need to take it slowly, especially if you are interested in an older guy. Listen to your parents about their perspective of your boyfriend and really listen. Maybe they see things you don't (you may not want to admit they are right, but parents usually have a clearer picture of things than when you are directly involved). Good luck and God Bless.

there isn't anything you can do since your the baby of the family and you will always be the baby of the family even when your 40 years old.your dad probably looks at you like his precious angel and sees your boyfriend as this young punk with raging hormones looking to seek prey on his daugther. so chances are it will always be like this til you go to college or move away from home which ever happens first. just tough it out for now.

He is trying to keep you from getting hurt.He just may not trust the guy,not you.15 is too young to have a steady boyfriend.There will be a lot of time later to date, just be a kid and enjoy life now...You will see later on what he's doing now.Believe that.

your dad is a smart man he knows what is on a 16yr mind, don't be in such a rush to grow up enjoy being a kid for awhile longer. maybe have the boy come over more so your parents can really get to know him

no offense, but you are pretty young. you still have alot to learn and don't worry about it you will be young for a long time. trust me you should think about your future before anything else.

well im not sure what you should do but i know im in the same situation im the youngest and my parents dont trust me to do anything they let my older siblings do
