Hi I am team mom for my sons tball team
(3-4 year olds). I was wanting some ideas and to get your response. They have a banner contest and want some ideas for that. Also about trophies the league does not provide them I was wanting to get some for the team, should the parents pay for them or should the coach and team mom get together and buy them for the team, they cost about $7-12 each not a lot but what sould we ask of the parents. Also what about having the end of the season party, at chuck e cheese or should we have it at a park i know the park will be cheaper and fun for the kids. What about stuff for the parents to wear for game days do you thing that they would like something made up for them. Yall let me know and if you can think of anything else let me know. Thank you Looksouts team mom.

I myself am a father. When my son played t-ball and so on, win or lose everybody from both teams got a Tastee Freeze after each game and a pizza party at seasons end for all the teams. As far as trophys go, all of us parents got together and bought them for all the kids.Every kid got a trophy and we got nice plaques of appreciation for the coaches. After all, they're the ones that makes the kids quit dancing in the outfeild and get the ball that is just laying there! They deserve a lot lf credit for showing so much pateince!! A plaque of this nature is a small way of letting them know just how much they really are appreciated. Hope I helped you.

You could always hold some fundraisers to finance the team's "extras" (trophies and end of season party for example). Check out http://www.schoolpals.net for some fund raising suggestions. Let me know if I can be of any assistance angie.parisi@schoolpals.net

Good luck!
