Tampax Satin Teen

don'y worry about your hymen, most of them stretch enough to easily let a tampon pass. Even if it does break it's not really a big deal, it has to break sometime, and tampons are 100 times better than pads, they're worth it.

It sure is! Tampons can be used at any age of starting your period. Just make sure you only used lites or regulars. The super and super plus may be too big and hurt you. Tampons are so amazing. I don't think I could live without them. They make life so much easier and your period less of a hassle. You can still go swimming and do anything you want to do because of them. I started my period at the age of 9 and by 10 or 11 I talked my mom into letting me try tampons. I didn't like them at first. I couldn't get them in right and they hurt. But after a few tries I got it right and I've used only tampons since then. Make sure you read up about them before you try them and know what the risks are if you keep them in too long. Toxic shock syndrome is pretty bad. I've never had it before, but a friend of mine almost died from it. I haven't heard of anyone else getting it though. As long as you remember to change them frequently then you should be fine. Good luck!!!

Yes hunny it is very safe...It will take a few tries to get it to fit right...The best way to know if it is in there correctly is this : if you can feel it and it hurts or it feels like it is falling out you did not put it in right. Follow the directions in the box they are very good intructions...They also have tampons for teens that are nice and small to start with...It may be a little weird at first but it is soooo much better than a maxi pad those things are disgusting...Good luck if you need anything else just email me...reggiethecokegirl@yahoo.com

It's fine... I think the reason some people suggest it isn't safe is because they assume younger women aren't responsible enough to use them correctly. Since improper use of a tampon can make you get very sick, it's always good to be careful. When you buy your first pack, read the directions and follow them.

In general: use the lightest absorbency you can get away with, change them out every 8 hours at the most, and don't use the scented ones. Since you are a N00B you may want to start off with the "teen" size.

Oh, my goodness, OF COURSE YOU CAN!!! USING A TAMPON HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR VIRGINITY!!! It does not hurt and it does not take away your virginity!! I have always used them...it's cleaner, it's more comfortable and it's easy! Just follow the directions on the box and make sure you change them every 6-8 hours at the most. Be extra careful not to leave the last one in at the end of your period and you'll be fine!

Yes you can. It's a bit weird trying to insert one for the first time (you'll probably go through about a box and a half before getting it right lol! ) but once you get the hang of them they're fine. Just make sure that you stick to the guidelines and change them regularly to avoid Toxic Shock Syndrome.

Sure, you will have to remember to change it often during the day though, since you can't feel it inside of you,you might forget that period is even happening! Good luck, and thank you for being responsible about your body, knowledge is strength.

Yes it is. It may take a while to get used to them. Start with the small size and see how it goes

Sure. Tampax makes a "junior" style. Small for younger users.
