Photons released by heavenly bodies, like the sun, make up the solar winds and emit radioactive magnetic properties. Because of these magnetic properties two things happen when they are released in space. They bond with another body in space and or bond with each other in a type of magnetic radiation band. These floating radiation strings are not harmful in the sense that we view nuclear radiation but they can play havoc on communication and electronic devices - thus magnetic storms etc. Although we watch Star Trek and see where their ship is put in mortal danger from magnetic storms, these storms rarely cause physical damage. Hope this helps.

On earth here we don't capture a single degree of the sun's radiation. All the rest goes into deep space.

Photons just keep on going through space until the hit another object in space. If they never hit another object they would keep going forever.

In theory they go on forever until they are absorbed by an equal or greater force.
