He's the biggest *** there is. He yaps continuously, Loves to irritate people get them all wound up but when they drop their gloves he 'turtles' and runs and hides. If he's going to trash talk and irriate then he needs to follow through and stand up and fight when the other guy is ready to fight. If he would just shut his mouth and play he would be bearable because he does have skill.

If Avery has an issue with his attitude and mouth, it's because the guy is all heart. He gives his all every shift-not even all the so called stars do that. I live in Los Angeles and was very angry the Kings traded him. The guy has a very complete game, speed, can finish, and is great in all the little areas. Is he an ***? Sure! But, he is young and has matured every year so far. I would want an *** like Avery on my team any day. But to your answer your question-pretty big.

It's part of his game. After watching him in LA for the last few years, he is actually a good skater and really was the only last year (and this year) with any hustle and heart. So he yaps. Big deal. Everyone talks crap. He was told by the coaching staff not to fight as much and he has definitely followed that. I love how everyone trashes him when there are bigger whiners like Teemu Selanne, etc out there.
He'll be missed in LA and the Ranger fans will give him the respect he deserves.
Anyone remember Esa Tikkanen?

He's a HUGE pain in the ***. That's part of what makes him effective. I'm a long time Ranger fan and am glad to see them get someone to fill the skilled agitator role. His edgy style can take opponents off of their game. It doesn't hurt that he knows what to do with the puck. The Rangers haven't had anyone like that since Tikkanen. Regardless of whether you like Avery, you've got to admit that he gets things going and keeps things interesting.

Well, maybe 4th behind Todd Bertuzzi, Chris Simon, and Jeremy Roenick. I certainly have no love for him, and was VERY happy when the Kings traded him away. The very minuscule skill he has as a hockey player is more than negated by the stupid penalties he takes and baggage a team with him has to carry. Hey Bob, did we actually just agree on something?

he has a bigger venue to be a pest now, i feel like he was being held back under crawford. sean is a player that always give the game his all if that makes him an as s then so be it! he can add penalty minutes to your fantasy team and once in awhile he get some points too, plus his girlfriend is hot

he ranks third in the nhl for penalty minutes if that is what you mean. i think it is 135 pim. he is pretty aggressive but at 5'10 and 185 lbs i guess he has to be aggressive or he would get pushed around by much bigger players.

I read in a hockey magazine that he is the most hated player. he'll drop the gloves, run his mouth, and drive the puck to the net...
AND even fight Martin brodure. Perfect attribute for the Rangers.
