all these guys are good, but they are all from atlanta, try some other regions/cities:

texas/houston: paul wall, chamillionaire, UGK (pimp c and bun b), slim thug, z-ro, mike jones, big tuck, lil flip, boys in blue, color changin click, DSR, scarface, and the list goes on and on

miami: rick ross, pitbull, dirtbag, trick daddy

memphis: three six mafia, yo gotti, 8-ball & mjg, playa fly, haystack, young buck(nashville)

atlanta: goodie mob and outkast (Older stuff is great), backwudz, jodi breeze, boyz in da hood, young dro

my favorites are chamillionaire, paul wall, UGK, and rick ross

make sure you get some of that, note.....UGK may be listed under pimp c or bun b (as they have done a lot of solo work)

good luck

T-Pain is from tallahassee, he is a singer kind of like akon, but much better......he does some nice stuff with southern rappers and you would probably enjoy his music as well.

if you want something real country, check out the group named "dirty" from alabama (they havent made anything in a while, but they have 2 awesome albums named, "the pimp and the gangsta" and "return of the the pimp and the gangsta")

also "nappy roots" first album was off the hook (they are from kentucky)
