I need the man's opinion on this question. I was told that I can't serve two masters by a man that I had developed a relationship with while my boyfriend was away. What did he mean by this? He told me this when he discovered that my boyfriend was returning.

He seems to mean that he wants you to chose which man you want to be with, him or your boyfriend.
He probably feels the relationship getting closer and wants to be with you but knows you are with your boyfriend too. For the best for everyone involved you should get straight what you want to do... and try not to lead him on if that's not what you want.

I know I'm not a guy but I wanted to answer this one.
Sounds like he's calling you a slave. Is he really a sexist pig, or is he just angry that your boyfriend is coming back? I don't know. Either way, saying something like that is uncool. Tell the jerk to go away and learn some respect.
I'm not letting you off the hook either girlie, you were wrong in seeing another guy while your bf was gone. Shame on you! Unless you have an open relationship, then just ignore this paragraph :P

When we peel away every other thing, our lives come down to a choice between two opposite things. Whether we will serve the true Almighty God or serve Satan. Now it is easier with Satan as he does not care what we do just as long as it is not serving God in the way he approves. Choosing to serve God requires some effort and out of a love for him, an appreciation of what he has already done for us. By our actions and desires, we all make our choice. God has arranged for all to know this choice must be made and offers the knowledge of what he has done for us in the Bible record. If we choose to ignore this on purpose, we have made our choice.

He's off by one leg of the triangle. He didn't want to be part of a relationship that was dilluted with two guys in it. He has romantic feelings for you and doesn't want to feel that he's fighting for your total affection.
