Yes, but she only likes him now that he's my ex, because she hates my current bf.

I dated a guy a few years ago that both my mom and my dad would have loved for me to been crazy about, but even though I thought that he was a great guy, he just didn't flip that switch, ya know? I did not stay with him, and I found out a couple of months ago that he got married and already has a new daughter. It felt funny knowing that he moved on like that, but he wasn't what I wanted.

The closest I've come to that was a guy I dated that was only living in the US temporarily. My whole family loved him, although they couldn't understand a word he said with that accent. But she really liked him and wished he had lived here longer. She knew I was really happy with him. I think about him pretty often because we keep in touch and I always wonder, if he hadn't gone home how things would have progressed.

yeah i had an ex that my mother like but it didn't work out. sometimes it's not about your mother or family members ya know what i mean they aren't the dating the person you are and it's you that has to decide whether or not the relationship is in the long run or short term.

i have a couple of ex-boyfriends that my parents liked. Of course they where the ones that i only hung out with for a short period of time. The boyfiends that i actually have cared about and dated for a long period of time my parents don't like. As for the ex's that my parents really liked i don't think about them at all. my parents dont like the bf i have now. i feel bad about it because i wish they did but im working on it. maybe one of these days they will change there mind. i hope

Ugghhh yes!!! I was with this guy throughout high school who my mother ADORED and STILL ADORES! His parents were flighty drug addicts who frequently disappeared leaving him to move in and live with us from time to time. During his stay at my home, he became part of my family, helped my sisters w/their homework, did the yard work, etc. My mom still invites him over for holidays which is extremely awkward for me since we had a rather nasty breakup. It's even more awkward for my current boyfriend who I usually bring over for holidays as well.
