Punish them by forcing them into a glass bottle - hold it up to one ear while pushing a pencil into the other. Be sure to use a sturdy stopper to hold them there - after a few days (or weeks - whatever your discretion deems a suitable punishment) let them back in and see if they remember their manners.
Hopefully they will remember to at least tap on your brain before interrupting your thoughts again!

I have the same problem, I was just thinking about how I have to tell my customer off. Awful thing but someones got to do it.

Try and stop them and stop starting thinking again, it works. I read a question about it yesterday so i just thought that might work.
