you dont need a boat to have fun but it does help get the ladies... just hang out with everyone , its usually a friendly place. spring break, labor day, summer, any party time, probaly mardi gras.

You do not need a boat to go, there will be plenty of MEN with their boat cruising to pick up girls and have fun - and I don't mean sex - it is a big party and every is social and gives you rides on their boats it is one big party.
My girlfriends and I set up a mini- bar on the beach and you will not believe the guys and girls that ended up coming over to the bar we made up contests and had the players have to perform dares in order to get a drink.
You will have a lot of fun- but like no other place be careful and use your judgment on who you decide to hang out with some guys are not very responsible and not to drunk so that you are safe. And always have your friends with you.
But for the last five years that my friends have went and I went once it is has been a blast with no one getting hurt.

i live here, spring break is crowded, i take the boys down to the lake to watch the crazies,, no you dont need a boat,, but if you get out of line the cops will put you in jail,, the motto here is,, come on vacation leave on probation,, just shoutin will get you in jail,, very true

A boat or a wet bike would be good. Best time to go April to October, it's a party ALL the time. It's something you will never forget.
