Well, my opinion is that it is one of the best out there...especially if you like poignant socio-political commentary. But it's also great if you wanna laugh at something completely rediculousm like Killer Whales being flown to the moon (serious lulz).
What I find hilareous is so many poeple saying Family Guy is they're favorite along with this, since Matt and Trey hate to be compared to Family Guy like that. They enjoy the show too, but they argue the humor is completely different.
But short answer? yes...probably.

False. The greatest comedy show ever was Saturday Night Live in the late 70's, early 80's. I do like South Park, but they do get a little freaky with their material. Thanks.

false, and i wouldn't even give it the number 2 spot. you've got shows like the family guy (as mentioned) but what about futurama? arrested development? ren & stimpy? and for their generations: m*a*s*h and the golden girls? there are so many shows that would get listed about south park it's ridiculous. having said that, my husband and i do own all the seasons that are out, but that is true of all the shows i listed.
