When Sayid and Sun and Jin were sailing around the island, there was a giant foot on the shore. That has never been mentioned or seen again. Any thoughts??? I thought it was highly intriguing, but I've been disappointed that it hasn't been followed up on or even mentioned as an oddity by any character.

Another interesting aspect of the statue is what appeared to be writting on it. I guess that could make it a giant footnote.

it will tie in later. you will have to wait and see. just about everything has meaning but you have to wait to find out what it is.
