I want to rent a nice funny movie to rent for me and my boyfriend's date, we are going to a nice very vancy resturnt , and maybe to a movie , are there any good movies on the big screen or if not, what are great movies to rent

Good, cute, romantic comedies that are on video: Just Like Heaven, Hitch, and 50 First Dates are all pretty good if that's the genre you want. In theatres there isn't much, if you must go to the movies i'd recommend: Music and Lyrics or Catch and Release (which i've heard is terrible, but there isn't much else).

I can't help you much if you don't want horror movies. The only funny movies I can suggest are older ones, any Monty Python movie is funny! But you have to appreciate 'stupid humor' to find it funny. Monty Python and the Holy Grail & Life of Brian are great!!!

Try watching Envy a 2004 comedy with Ben Stiller, Jack Black, and Christopher Walken. Its about to friends(BenStiller&Jack Black) who go to work everyday and the one friend (Jack Black) is always trying to come up with a new invention. Well one day he(Jack Black) comes up with a new invention and asks his friend(Ben Stiller) and his friend(Ben Stiller) thinks his invention is dumb well anyways he(Jack Black) becomes rich off this invention. Chrisopher Walken plays a crazy, funny guy which is pretty funny seeing him in a funny film cause he usually plays serious parts. Anyways its a pretty good movie.
