Impossible, even if you send in the Marines, or pass a new law, or give stricter punishment! The best thing is to give more economic growth and less government(which people will not do)! If these people could use their drugs recreationally there would be little problems especially if they could buy them at a cheap price. The demand for drugs have always remained fairly constant. How many gans were there back in the 1910s, 20s? Back then drugs usage was legal and about the same number of people died from it! The War on Drugs has began a WAR. Go figure huh? Now it is about ghetto kids versus the cops. If you aren't a gang member you are a cop or a friend of one. That's how they think. They see "whitey" and get nervous. Probably because "whitey" always wants to throw them in jail for using drugs. The only time anybody should go to jail is when they violate someone elses rights. Until "whitey" stops fighting them first, there will always be gangs!

Beating people up is something a lot of people do, those in gangs and those that are not in gangs. As long as violence continues to be considered to be an appropriate response to conflict in our society (and until people are competent in responding to conflict in nonviolent ways), people will keep beating people up.

well, this is my opinion. i think that gangs well never officially stop. and that it would be hard to stop it. unless, the president announces that everyone where black pants/skirts, white shirt, and black shoes so that everyone is uniformed. no jeans, no saggin your pants, females must wear tights, and hair in bun. the list can go on and on. everyone has the right to wear whatever they basically want. it would be hard to stop ppl from coming together and killin or beatin one another. even with the "unifrom," they would still come together and beat each other up. if not for the fall of Adam and Eve, none of this would be possible. that's jus like sayin that "how can we end world hunger?" or "how can crime be stopped completely?"

and now she's raising her little boy and going to college!
