Yes the second season has already begun filming. NO this is NOT the second season, there was a hiatus for Holiday programming and there is a total of 21 or 22 episodes in the first season.
However, not all the characters from the first season will be in the second.
Its one of the top rated shows in the US right now, obviously they want to capitalize on that.

Well, you can't really be sure until they see how the well the ratings have done throughout the season and how good the season sells on dvd, but with the way things are going, i'd say yes. The ratings are high and the show seems to be very well liked. I hope there is a second season. It's definitely one of my fave shows on television.

Like Schamancer, I thought it was aleady in sesaon 2. But I think it will have upto 5 more seasons. Interesting twist, having Nici and her alter ego switch places, there by putting Nici in the mirror instead of Jessica being in the mirror. I want to know about that weird tattoo of hers.

I read somewhere that the writers already have 5 full seasons (counting the current one) hammered out, and ready to go.
That show is NBC's only hit this year (of its new shows). I think it's going to be around at least another year.

If you mean a second season, I think its a pretty safe bet they will renew it. That announcement probably won't be made until later in the spring, though.

i don't know for sure, but it is such a good show and seems to be doing well, i would think there will be a second season.
