Hotel Monaco is really cool....colorful. Pretty hip. I love the Brown Palace, but might be a bit snooty. There is a newer place, called The Curtis Hotel and described as whimsical, fun & cool. Themed floors. They have a website. Hotel Teatro is modern and sleek. All of these will be expensive...pretty much anywhere downtown will be unless you want Comfort Inn or Holiday Inn.

Everyone will have an opinion about what their favorite hotels in downtown Denver are; there are small, boutique hotels (Monaco, Teatro, Magnolia, Oxford) or the larger, modern hotels (Hyatt, Marriott, Adam's Mark, Westin) You'll need to decide what makes sense for your group, both price-wise, amenities and location.
I really like www.tripadvisor.com's reviews because they come from different travelers and you can see the things they liked or didn't like. They also give you a fairly accurate price range, although cheaper deals can be had through hotels.com, etc. I would check the deals link they have on the hotel review page at Trip Advisor to see if you can get a better deal. Have fun with your girls' weekend!

The Hotel Teatro and the Hotel Monaco are both awesome boutique hotels. Also the Gregory Inn is a lovely Bed and Breakfast near downtown. And the Castle Marne looks like fun.
Stay away from the chain hotels - you can have a blast at some of these special places.

It all depends on what part of Denver you want to stay in (downtown, midtown or suburbs). I stayed in the hotel VQ which is located in the suburbs right next to the Invesco Field stadium. I knew it was a bit of a walk to get to downtown (1/2 mile) but the walk is enjoyable is it takes in the local park, aquarium, etc and if you get a bit tired then there is the free shuttle bus that goes up /down 16th street from the train station to almost the Capitol building. I booked it as it was a reasonable price and that you would get a great view of the Denver skyline from the bar on the 14th floor.

I would agree with The Brown Palace or Hotel Monaco. They are both the choice of celebrities when in town. Adam's Mark is old & rooms aren't that nice. Loew's isn't downtown. The Hyatt at the convention center is brand new & also very nice, convenient to downtown, a block off of 16th st. mall.

The Brown Palace is probably the nicest hotel between St Louis and Las Vegas. It's not what you'd call modern as far as style goes - it was built in the 1800's - but it's definitely the place to have a special event.

Hyatt downtown denver!! # years old, flat screen T.V.'s, bar on the 35th floor, veryh modern decor etc. It's right near the train station, and is also not far away from the 16th street mall. Right in the center of downtown!

I would recommend the Adam's Mark Hotel on the 16th St. Mall...this way you and your girlfriends can go out downtown (dancing, shopping, drinking), have fun, and walk back to your rooms! It's a very classy hotel, and not as pricey as Brown Palace and Loews!
Have fun and be safe!

The Loews is an absolutely beautiful hotel! If you want luxury, I suggest that you look into that one:http://www.loewshotels.com/en/Hotels/Denver-Hotel/Overview.aspx
They have specials for weddings, meetings, and other special events.
