We do not hate the States, there are some who do, but I certainly do not. The guy who posted that Q is a moron and obviously has issues. It just hurts me to read that some of you guys hate us....can't we just get along?

Well, I'm Canadian, and I have to say that I DO NOT HATE THE US. I have know reason to dislike the people who live there. And really they have no reason to dislike the people who live here in Canada.
I think what a lot of our problems are is our governments and we tend to take our governments decisions out on eachother. For example, the US people felt a little bit burned when the Canadian government didn't join the US with their attack on Iraq. Although we did have troops their, we were only there to act as "peace keepers."
People need to realize that just because our government didn't support the cause does not mean that the Canadian people didn't!

Awww...I HATE the h word. Actually, I LOVE Canada. The people there have always been very friendly to me and you have some of the most fun cities in the world. Even Niagra Falls looks better from the Canada side.

Well I dont hate Canada, USA born and almost 2 years ago married a wonderful Canadian, and now live here and wouldnt trade it for anything.. Some people juat arent happy in life and dont know how to express it so this is a new place for them to show their stupidity and how shallow they are, maybe tomorrow will be a better day for them...

Not Canada bashing at all. That is why I posted one of his questions so that everyone would bash him. I don't think anyone that bashed Canada really meant it but the US takes alot of crap from other countries. We as citizens live here and enjoy the freedoms of living in the US. We do not create policy.

I totally agree with you. I have a lot of friends and family in the States, so I have nothing bad to say at all about our neighbors. Unfortunately, one person makes everyone else look bad.

I have great friends that are Canadian! In fact they want me to come up for Bonspiel weekend next month! I just like asking how the hell you keep those damn toques on..since you have flip-top heads and all!

I love Canada! I have never been anywhere else outside the U.S. where the people were so nice. Don't worry, we have a bunch of stupid bottom-feeders over here also.

Let me just say something. I've been bashed by more Canadians than not.
I'm at a point of believing there never was a difference between Cananda and France.
I have a FEW good Canadian friends, but most have always been US bashers
