As an ex smoker, I definately recommend the nicotine inhaler. It acts like a cigarrette but you only get the nicotine from it without all the other bad chemicals and smoke. You can buy the starter packs which about a week (depending on how much you smoke) for as little as £5 from pharmacies or good supermarkets such as Asda.

Also if gum is not your thing, try Commit. I think it's easier on patients and has a high success level. Remember besides your willingness to want to quit research shows that having a support group while you're trying to quit almost double the chance of your success.
