i dont have anything to wear really and just wanted to know if i go to walmart for some clothes what color do i get ?

It used to be that everyone wore black to a funeral but today I think there is a lot more leeway. I always stick to dark colors for funerals and you can't go wrong buying black-it's basic and can be worn anytime. Oh and you can wear pants, skirt or a dress. Hope this helps.

Although the traditional funeral attire is modest black clothing, I think it is perfectly acceptable to wear another dark color such as green or blue. I'm sure Walmart will carry something suitable.

Typically funeral attire is nice & dressy but always black or grey. Dark colors for respectful mourning.

Color isn't that big of a deal, as long as it's not hot pink or anything. Something dark or subdued is good. Just wear something respectful -- no ripped jeans, dirty t-shirts, or plunging necklines.

well if you want something cheap go to ross. Usually a girl would wear a skirt or a dress but you can wear slacks. You want to wear black.

I wore a black skirt with a matching jacket along with a black tank top shirt for underneath the jacket, nude pantyhose, black heels, black purse with no handles something just to carry in your hand along with a black satin hankerchief to wipe my tears away ! You can find something at Wal Mart surely without any problems. ow the color for mourning is usually black.

these days you can wear any color you like and what you wear isn't has important as being there is. pants with a nice sweater is fine or a skirt with a blouse.

wear something business casual (nice pants, nice, dark, top). Don't wear anything crazy colored or too bright. A dark shade of anything is good.

I wore a black top with a dark grey skirt to my grandmother's funeral. I've also worn very dark blue pant suits...

I'm a man and i usually wear blue jeans and a white dress shirt. and in cold weather i wear a black leather trench coat too.
