How do I replace my tailight on a 2003 pontiac grand am?

From the inside, look behind the fabric behind the trunk there are thumb bolts that you loosen to remove the tail light or there will be holes there to access the light

It may be different than most but typically you just pop the trunk and pull back the carpet.(it may be glued just to warn you.) then you will see a plastic object. one is big and black (probubly) this is the light housing. you iwll also see a diferent colored thing attached to it. this is the light all you notmally have to do is just turn it. if this does not work dont force it. once out the bulb should just pull out. if your light is LED which is a whole bunch of little lights you are gunna have to ask the pontiac shop for assistance. There should be a cover in the tailgate that you can remove to get access to the bulbs. These days you just pop them in/out of the connector and its done.

Consult the manual if your not sure.

Look in the trunk, See if open to wire. or compartment.open. Most light twist in and out.
