I really love them and I have 2 new pairs of the newer, more modified ones. NO chunky heals, no big buckles, very low key. I am just worried that they are still a "DONT"...

it really depends on the outfit.
but like you said, if they aren't chunky heels, or big buckles, which used to be very 1990s... then i'm sure they'll be okay..
i actually saw girl wearing a pair just the other day that didn't even resemble maryjanes.
so, GO FOR IT!

Mary Janes are super cute. They are definitly a DO now-a-days. Lindsay lohan is always wearing them and she pulls it off. Anybody can pull them off. you can wear them with skinny jeans and a nice breezy shirt, or with an embellished short dress.

You know, I think if you have a small foot and frame they look really cute. I think they are still in style but probably only look good on petite people.
