Their actions are different apart from the other, cats are more sneaky and not quite as playfull, as a dog, I think dogs are cuter, maybe alittle more time consuming, because a cat is trained to go on a cat tray, you can train a small dog that way, but most people perfere to take them out. I have a chihuahua myself. Hope this has been of some help to your Q.
