Why, although the creation and bias of race began around the same time and for the same reasons, is there less of a known/seen/admitted racism against Natives than any other group in todays societies particular African Americans for the reasoning of those being the first other American groups discriminated against unjustly.

Thought I'd try asking once more to see if I can get any different opinions on the question.

Uh firstly, African Americans are not Natives to America. Secondly, racism goes back to early human history if not before, i.e. the Egyptians has "racist" comments about the Hykso and Habiru (think I spelled those close to right).

Arguably the Native American were the first to be unjustly discriminated against. As for slavery, it's probably been around as long as racism, the African Americans are just one of the more recent ones to suffer.

Your question is not very clear.

First Nations (what we call indigenous people in Canada) are, for the most part ignored. From time to time, you may hear about them, particularly when land rights are in question. We have had a few road blocks. There is descrimination here towards First Nations (good little Canadians don't like to admit this) and people of colour as well.

The atrocities committed by whites towards First Nations is documented and there are several legal battles (presently) in the courts for restitution for the children that were ripped out of their homes and put into Catholic schools, where they were forbidden to speak their native language or have native names. Its extremely nasty when you look at history.

It may be that the African American population is larger and more visible and, finally, powerful than First Nations people.

I can only speak from experience. I have on many of occasion been a victim of racism from the ugliest looks to some pretty foul and vulgar venom being spewed. This dates back to my childhood I find it hard to find work near my reservation because of a negative stereo-type these people perceive. Don't you see how openly racist some are like Wa. Redskins the Braves Chiefs and so on. So I have to say More against us.
