It would just be like watching one of those films/tv programmes where they've failed to get the synchronisation of the sound and picture right, and you hear the sound before it happens on the picture.

I suppose that hearing sounds before seeing pictures would be a big problem, we'd be wondering where that noise came from all the time.

So my bet is that we'd have evolved differently, so that sound would be our most important sense, and that sight would be less important.

Perhaps we would not need lights, as seeing was not that critical, so we wouldn't use as much electricity.

That would mean there would need to be less power stations to generate the electricity.

That would mean less burning of fossil fuels, and so less global warming.

That would mean less rare species would become extinct.

That would mean .............

That would be so cool! But then again dont we already see the future, or perhaps its the past by a very very short time...

that would just mess up the modern physics we already know....

it also not feasible since sound needs a carrier/medium to travel, while light doesnt need any.

thunder comes before lightning. now that would be cool. we would be able to dodge bullets, be able to take cover from things like earthquakes, tornadoes, atomic bombs. but then things would transmit slower. alot slower.
