you mean burn? like copy a dvd? or make your own movie or something?
if you want to copy,
then you will need a dvd burner installed on your computer, and a program to do it.
like nero.
if you want to make your own movie then you need a program
like SWISHMAX.
or if you want to make your own movie then you need a camcorder, and if you want to be able to put these movies on the computer then you need a camcorder with a usb port, or one that films directly to a dvd (or mini dvd) disk. (to edit these videos on the computer you will need a program like SWISHMAX)
you could buy advance equipment to put vhs stuff on your computer if you wanted to.
thing is, you should really be more specific in your questions to get a really good answer.
