You need to connect the computers together by a network cable (through the LAN ports, if your computers have them) or I believe there's a USB cable out to do the same thing. On the main computer go into Control Panel and click on Network Setup Wizard. Let if run and make a network sttings disc and put this disc into the next computer and click on the file on this disc and it will set the network up.

create a network,
you will need a hub and some ethernet network cables.

Connect all the PC's to the hub via the network cables then use the windows wizard to help you create a private network. ( goto control panel and click on "network setup wizard")

If you do not have a hub then you can connect two pc's together with a crossover ethernet cable, and if you can't get one of those you can re-wire a standard ethernet cable so it works as one.

Hint make sure you enable your pc to be viewed on the network and also make sure that you right click on the Hard drive or folder you wish to share and click on the share option.

Now you can view each others pc on the network. and transfer files.

I would tell you step by step but to be honest with you its quite long winded, plus the windows network wizard should be straight forward enough and you will probably learn easier just doing it yourself.

Hi. Depends on how much data you want to transfer. The easiest way is to connect the old hard drive to the new computer and copy. An external HD makes this a breeze if you have one.
