Yes, but that was Solomon. Two women were arguing over the ownership of a baby, so he suggested cutting the baby in half to settle the dispute. the baby's real mother, rather that he be alive and with another woman than dead, told him to forget it and give the baby to the other woman. that was how he knew the true mother.
