I have an ATI Radeon 9250 (PCI). It works well for me. The only times I have a lag is when I play Guild Wars and there are many users online. Otherwise it has not given me any problems at all. (One person noted that the ATI 9250 would not run games made after 2004. Please be aware that I run WoW and all three Guild Wars with no problems, and each were produced after 2004)

I'm not familiar with NVidia cards unfortunately.

Also, note that PCI slots and the cards for them are disappearing fast. Might help to upgrade with a new motherboard and PCI-express slots. (Assuming you are able and interested.)

The 6100 comes with your motherboard.
If u already have the 6100 and are thinking of getting the 9250, then dont.

If all u have is a PCI slot and not an AGP or PCI-Express slot, then the 9250 is the best that u can ever hope to do.

But the 9250 will NOT run any game created after 2004.

Hi. I looked at the specs for each but, in my opinion, PCI will not be as fast as AGP or PCIe.

the best pci you can get is the Radeon x1300. http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics.html. Might want to try to get a motherboard with a pci-e slot.

Sorry to say but if you mean latest by new games, both of them will struggle to play them at minimum
