with that scenario even bush would admit Iraq was a mistake.
Certainly most of the oil comes from South America, but the US nonetheless depends heavily on middle eastern oil. Bush's intention to secure the second richest oil nation would guarantee US oil companies profits for several decades.

Without a doubt.
I can't believe all of the naive comments about where our oil comes from. Do you people really love this bastard, who has screwed us time & time again, enough to believe anything that comes from his mouth. The last time you people fell for this line of crap was when Ronnie was in the office & the worst part of that is you still don't realize you got shafted. Nobody's perfect even Dems & Indies, but we expect a little bit of lying, but not to the extremes that these 2 guys have taken it. I feel sorry for you people it must really hurt when your knight in shining armour comes crashing to the ground. Give me a horny prez anyday at least he's not putting us in danger, just himself & not even that bad anymore since the AIDS drugs got better.

yet i wish you already know Maliki's gov is Shiite dominant gov. And Iran is Shiite. Shiites do no longer desire to combat one yet another. Non of neighboring international locations desire to get entangled at as quickly as in Iraq. Shiite acquaintances funnel funds and weapons to Shiites in Iraq and Sunni acquaintances do a similar. you will no longer see neighboring international locations stroll into Iraq. With exception of Turkey in line with hazard who're mad at Kurds on Northern Iraq. yet this is separate concern. Iraq acquaintances Sunni and Shiite international locations. Non of them desire to work out chaos in Iraq that should provide Shiite or Sunnis finished administration of Iraq. The troops will never be out for some years. there will be some considerable withdrawal commencing next year. yet we will nevertheless have ~50000+ troops there. in spite of in the event that they determine to flow with finished withdrawal no you are able to nevertheless say for specific what is going to take place. it fairly is totally unpredictable area. there is incredibly no longer too many that recommend finished on the spot withdrawal. Many ask for extra political rigidity on Iraqi gov in conjuction with sluggish pull out.

Would we be there in the first place if there wasn't any oil?
I mean, there are terrorists all over the planet, there are dictators all over the planet, and we even have Kim Jong Il (sorry if I spelled it wrong) threatening us with Nukes...and yet all of the political and military focus has been right where the oil is.
Interesting, isn't it?

Bush won't pull out until all the oil in that whole region is burnt up. Then, when there's only sand left, he would leave immediately.

We don't get a majority of our oil from the Middle East. A majority of our oil comes from South America. I find it sad that this generation will produce some teachers one of these days. Makes me scared to send my kids to school.
