i would focus on motivation being a prime factor in any learning situation, if learners are motivated they will be more attentive and receptive to learning. if you can build a lesson around learners interests you will have a more attentive and participative class.

don't know about 360 words, but if lesson is not meeting children's needs what is the point? and if it is not interesting many of the children will not be engaged and so will not learn
