i think thats a great name for a boy and its not girly at all for a boy. and besides you have a masculine middle name that is great as well. you don't have a problem at all.
i like that name. good choice!
--- Peyton Kane Sparks ---
hope this helps and good luck with the bf.

While I don't personally like the name for a boy or a girl, it seems to be one of those that can go both ways. But usually when I see it for a girl, it had an 'a' in it. And is does sound nice with the more masculine 'Kane'.

I would change Kane to Dane maybe and it makes it more "manly". Peyton John isn't bad either. If you pair it with a strong male name for the middle name, it's not that bad. I really like it.

Mostly everyone I know with the name Payton/Peyton is female. However, there is a little boy in my son's kindergarten class with the name Peyton, and just so you know....he gets teased horribly that he has a girl's name. I've seen the poor little one crying in the corner some days. I guess just use your own judgement.

go out on the back porch and holler peyton kane sparks get home now! see how it sounds!
thats how my girlfriend sorted through the names for her children. if it didn't sound good being called out on the back porch then it didn't get chosen.
but i also have to say, an adult name of peyton.........just doesn't appeal to me. regardless of what athlete has the name!
good luck and happy baby!
