Umm no!!!!

Today we had a Taurus in the shop. The left rear coil spring broke, causing it to drop about 4 inches below the lower spring perch and tear into the sidwall of the left rear tire, blowing it out instantly.

If your car was designed to run on broken coil springs ( the suspension part that carries all the weight of the vehicle) then they would have put broken springs in at the factory. As it is, the car is quite dangerous to drive and you put yours and others lives quite literally at risk by insisting on driving it in this condition. Sorry to be harsh but I've seen lots of broken coil springs and lots of owners who don't seem to comprehend how serious that is.

I'd run it until the tire started rubbing on something or it became difficult to drive. Keep enough money with you for a tow bill.

hi the following in ?he uk it might want to be so obtrusive that the motorcar replaced into no longer in a highway worth condition to maximum police officials that you would possibly want to be stopped and fined as well as having it confiscated because it replaced into roadworthy it might want to also be taken to a VOSA storage they could condemn it and overwhelm it to.

yes. i did it with an old dodge omni. it isnt very safe to do though as your handling will be different as well as possible damage to the front suspension and steering components.
